AXIS Boarding Policy

Boarding Fee (applicable to all boarding students)

Boarding Fee for all boarding students【per student/based on double occupancy】 28000

*Note: There might be selective dormitory activities that cost a certain fee. Participation in such paid activities will be on a voluntary basis.

Boarding Fee

The boarding fee includes accommodation at the AXIS dormitory (2-bed, en-suite, shared with another boarding student), evening tutoring support provided by the school, some organized dorm activities, basic laundry services, and bedding. If a student requests a room by himself/herself, he/she needs to pay for both beds in the room, with a total of 28,000x2=56,000rmb.


Dorm fee is payable in RMB. Payment in US Dollars or another currency must be arranged prior to payment with the finance office. The currency exchange rate for the school year 2024-2025 is: 1 US Dollar = 7.0 Chinese RMB.

The boarding billing will be made by the AXIS finance office. Payment needs to be made before the student is allocated a dorm room.

New Boarding Students Enrolling Mid-Year and for the Next Academic Year

New students billing for dorm accommodation will be sent upon acceptance and is due immediately. If payment is not received within 7 calendar days the slot will be released. Students cannot start dorm residence until the payment is made. If a student withdraws after accepting dorm offer for the next academic year and before June 30th, the paid invoice will be refunded less an RMB 5,600 non-refundable deposit.

Late Entry Policy

For new students enrolling after the start of the school year in August, the boarding fee will be charged on a prorated basis.

Withdrawal Policy

If a student withdraws from the school at any time prior to January 31st, 40% of the full boarding fee paid will be refunded. If a student withdraws from February 1st - March 31st, 20% will be refunded. No other refunds for early withdrawals can be considered. Parents should send an Email to the Office and cc the Life Coach to apply for the withdrawal. Withdrawal forms are available at the AXIS Head of School office.
