Along with the red lanterns hanging around the campus, it feels more and more like Chinese New Year. Today was the last school day before the Chinese New Year Holiday. There were activities throughout the campus.
In the morning, at 9 am-10 am, there was a whole-school Assembly and Performance held in the Auditorium. Students from ECC to Grade 9 brought us many fantastic performances, including singing, dancing, Kung Fu, and drama. Kids worked together, performed together, and celebrated together. What amazing students they are!
This time, we also invited the parents to join us online through the livestream link and admire those lovely performances!

After the morning snack time, the ROTATIONS started! Kids loved it!
Ten stations (rotation activities) plus the PSA booths were set up ready to roll. Students took turns by grade levels to participate in those fun activities. Teachers and staff members provided the instructions and support on the stations and kept things orderly as students rotated between the stations.

In the afternoon, students participated in the Dragon Parade on the platform facing the school’s main gate. Students were grouped by their homerooms and created their own “living breathing” dragons. Students held and lifted these adorable and unique dragons and gave a fabulous performance for the community. The Dragons Dance is an important part of the CNY celebrations. The dragons will bring us luck and happiness in the upcoming year.
AXIS and ISS wish all of you a healthy and wealthy year! Please take time with your families, stay healthy and safe, and always practice kindness. 😊
