Mr. Greg Smith, the legal representative of AXIS and Vice President of ISS Asia Pacific, shared, “This announcement really gives the whole Board great pleasure. ISS has always brought experience and expertise to international school management. There is no one better than Mr. Bill Pearson to showcase both experience and expertise. The optimism that we all have for AXIS is something that Bill has also seen. He will bring knowledge gained in some of the very best schools in the region. He will also bring great enthusiasm, a love of learning, and lots of energy to grow our school together with the community. I am very excited to welcome Mr. Bill Pearson to the AXIS community and can’t wait to introduce him and his wife, Anita, to you in person. We are working to ensure he is here in Xiamen with us as soon as possible.”
Mr. Matthew Doige added, “Bill Pearson is well known in the ISS international community and has had a hugely successful career at tier 1 schools across many continents, including Singapore American School and International School of Beijing. I am enormously excited that someone of Bill’s qualifications and experience will join the AXIS team next year. Students, staff and parents will benefit from Bill’s knowledge, stability and warm personality. I feel very heartened knowing that I leave the school in such capable hands. Go Dragons!.”
