Happy International Children’s Day! 🎉🎉

祝大家六一国际儿童节快乐！

This Thursday, 1st June, a special assembly organized by the AXIS Student Council was held in the morning. All students wore their cozy pajamas and sat together in the auditorium. In the beginning, Student Council members prepared a “Secret Box” as an interactive session. Then our Grade 1 students sang a beautiful song for us. Grade 3 dragons presented their UOI projects by performing an awesome music show on the stage.

本周四，在长菁校园内，孩子们迎来了一年一度的六一国际儿童节。上午，学生会组织了一场全校集会。学生们穿着自己舒适的睡衣一起来到学校礼堂。集会开始，学生会成员们准备了“神秘箱”作为互动环节。而后，一年级的学生们带来了歌曲表演，三年级的孩子则通过音乐演奏的方式与大家分享了他们在UOI课堂上收获的学习成果。

After that, students from ECC to Grade 10 watched the “Egg Drop Challenge” – kids from different grades dropped their egg parachutes from the 3rd floor one by one. Kids laughed together, shared their learning experiences, and supported each other. Good job, AXIS dragons!

集会最后，全体学生观看了“鸡蛋降落伞”的挑战，来自不同年级的孩子带着自己制作的降落伞到现场进行测试，气氛既紧张又欢乐。孩子们在一起大笑，一起分享学习成果，相互支持合作。长菁学子们，你们真棒！

After the lunch break, the “Water Day” started on the field. There were various water games set up for our kids – a big puddle pool, several small pools, an inflatable water castle, and a bubble machine. But the most popular activity was the Water Gun Fight! The field was full of laughter and happiness as the kids were playing with water and running through the bubbles. The “Water Day” was a must-have event for AXIS students to cool down during the hot summer.

下午时间，孩子们来到学校操场参加期待已久的“亲水活动日”。现场准备了大大小小的泳池，泡泡机，以及水上城堡。但大家最最期待的则是玩具水枪大战！当孩子们尽情地穿梭在不同的水池边和泡沫之中，整个操场充满了孩子们的欢声笑语。对于长菁的学生来说，”亲水活动日”成了大家炎炎夏日里必须拥有的清凉时光。
