Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival

Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important festivals in China that are wildly celebrated among the domestic residents as well as the broader overseas Chinese community. It is celebrated on the 15th Day of August every year according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar.

中秋节是中国最重要的传统节日之一，在这一天，居住在中国的华人和广大的海外华人社区都会欢聚一堂，庆祝节日。根据中国的农历，每年农历的八月十五就是中秋节。

Friends and families gather to appreciate the moon, eat the mooncakes, and celebrate a year of good harvest and happy reunions.

家人朋友们会聚集在一起赏月，吃月饼，以庆祝一年的丰收和幸福团圆。

Poah Pia (Hokkien dialet), or Bo Bing (Chinese Pinyin) is a Chinese National Intangible Cultural Heritage that originated from Southeastern Fujian Province. It is a simple 6 dices game played specifically during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The winner, aka 状元, is considered to have the best fortune in the year to come.
博饼是中国国家非物质文化遗产，起源于福建省东南部。它是一种简单有趣的小游戏，由六颗骰子组成，是一种专门在中秋节期间玩的游戏。游戏的赢家，又称状元，被认为在来年会有最好的运气。
In partnership with the AXIS Parent Support Association, the AXIS Chinese Team organized a series of fun cultural activities on campus this year for the AXIS dragons and staff members to celebrate Mid-Autumn Day. It was a great cultural experience for all!

今年，长菁中文团队与PSA合作，在校园内为AXIS龙族和教职员工们组织了一系列有趣的文化活动来庆祝中秋节。这对社区成员们是一次精彩的文化体验!
