Earth Day: Save Our Planet 

AXIS’s Earth Day celebrations were a huge success, with a range of activities aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. One of the highlights was the community beach clean-up at Guanyinshan Beach led by our Grade 2 homeroom teacher Ms. Lexi on 15th April. Staff, teachers, students, parents and community members all came together to help clean up the beach and remove trash and debris from the shoreline. This collaborative effort highlights the importance of community action in protecting our planet and serves as a reminder that small actions can make a big difference. 

长菁的地球日庆祝活动取得了巨大成功，学校开展了一系列旨在提高环境意识和可持续性的活动。环保亮点之一是观音山海滩的社区海滩清洁活动，由学校老师Ms.Lexi组织。 工作人员、教师、学生、家长和社区伙伴们齐聚一堂，帮助清理海滩并清除海岸线上的垃圾和碎屑。 这种协作努力突出了社区行动在保护我们星球方面的重要性，并提醒人们小行动可以产生大不同。

Another key event was the student council-led assembly on 21st of April, which brought together students from Early Childhood to Secondary to learn about the importance of environmental protection. The assembly featured StuCo speakers, interactive activities, and a powerful message about the impact of human activity on the planet. Art teacher Ms. Rosie and the student council members also created a “recycle rain cloud” installation to promote recycling and the importance of reducing waste. 

另一项重要活动是学生会于4月21日主导的大会，该大会汇集了从幼儿到中学的学生，以了解环境保护的重要性。 大会以学生会成员发言、互动活动和关于人类活动对地球影响的有力信息为特色。 艺术老师Rosie女士和学生会成员还制作了一个“回收雨云”装置来宣传回收利用和减少浪费的重要性。 

Overall, these activities demonstrate AXIS’s commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental awareness. By working together as a community, we can make a real difference in protecting our planet for future generations.
