Tuition

Tuition includes staffing and resources, such as, texts, learning and resource materials, technology, Week Without Walls (WWW) (up to RMB 5,000), library and database membership, high-speed/wireless internet access, sports and fitness facility access for academic purposes. 

Note: Additional fees may apply for interscholastic travel/activities or activities. IMPORTANT: The cost to repair lost or broken technology devices is the responsibility of the parent for the student for which the device is issued.

Payment/Billing

Tuition is payable in RMB. Late penalties will apply. Payment in US Dollars or another currency must be arranged prior to payment with the finance office. The current exchange is established at the end of March. A 2% per month Late Payment Fee will be assessed on all overdue payments and will not be included in the fapiao amount.

Seat Confirmation fee and Tuition

The seat confirmation fee is an essential part of the re-enrollment process and supports the school’s staffing and resource allocation as explained above. The seat confirmation fee is non-refundable. The fee will be credited toward the child's tuition fees for the upcoming academic year.

Payment Schedule

Re-enrolled Students

The school calls for re-enrollment in mid-March. Parents are asked to respond to the re-enrollment call by the end of March. A non-refundable seat confirmation fee of 40,000 RMB will be billed to the parents or the designated payer once the Admissions Office receives confirmed re-enrollment decisions. This seat confirmation fee payment must be made within 14 calendar days of receiving the invoice to reserve the child’s class placement for the new school year.

The remaining balance of the tuition fees will be billed on or about April 15th and will be no later than June 1st. Payment is required on or before the last working day in June prior to the start of the new school year.

If a student withdraws after accepting admission for the next school year and before the new school year starts, the paid invoice will be refunded less the RMB 40,000 non-refundable seat confirmation fee.

New Students

Enrolled Before April 14,2026

New students enrolled between the middle of March and April 14th will be billed a non-refundable seat confirmation fee of 40,000 RMB. The seat confirmation fee is due within 14 calendar days from the date of the invoice.

The remaining balance of the tuition fees will be billed on or about April 15th and will be no later than June 1st. Payment is required on or before the last working day in June prior to the start of the new school year.

Enrolled On or After April 15, 2026, and Before the Start of the New School Year

New students enrolled between April 15th, 2026, and the start of the new school year will be billed full tuition. The due date for tuition payment is on or before the last working day in June, or within 7 calendar days whichever is later.

We kindly request parents to make the payment promptly as our staffing and resource planning needs are related. If payment is not received by the due date, the seat may be released. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us avoid this unpleasant situation.

Entry After School Year Starts

New students enrolling after the start of the school year, will be billed tuition on a prorated basis.

 

Refunds Withdrawal After School Year Starts

If a student withdraws any time prior to December 31st during the current school year, 40% of the full tuition paid will be refunded. If a student withdraws from January 1st to February 28th, 20% will be refunded. After March 1st no refunds will be made.

Parents should send an email to the division academic offices to request the withdrawal form. Completed withdrawal forms should be submitted to office@axisschool.org.cn at least 30 days prior to the student’s last day of school.

IMPORTANT: The official withdrawal date will be determined based on the date the student submits a completed withdrawal application form and returns all school property, including but not limited to devices, books, and any other required materials or resources. Completion of both steps is required to facilitate an efficient withdrawal process.

Overdue Payments

In the case of financial delinquency, any student whose tuition is outstanding will not be allowed to attend school until payment is made. Questions about bills and payments should be directed to the finance office.


Tuition Adjustment

In the unfortunate event of a fiscal crisis or force majeure affecting the school, the school can revise fees at any time during the school year.


Important Note

The enrollment of any student is a private contract between the parent and the school, regardless of any arrangement the parent may have with an employer concerning the payment of school fees. The parent always remains responsible for the payment of all school fees.

Important: it is essential to send a copy of the bank transfer slip to AXIS email btslip@axisschool.org.cn on the day payment is made. It is critical that the names and grades of all students must accompany the wire transfer payment instructions.


4. Lunch Fees

Lunch and snacks are optional for Day students and compulsory for Boarding students. Lunch fees are charged annually. Prices are subject to change.

Terms and Conditions 
Commencement 

AXIS will provide school lunch and snack to students after the funds have been received.

Cancellation Policy  

If your child / children wish to cancel your meal program a notice must be sent five (5) days in advance to office@axisschool.org.cn.

Refunds will be processed at the end of each semester (January and June).

The calculated refund fee will only be sent to the original payment sources. (Bank Account Transfer Only) .

Absentee Policy 

To qualify for an absentee refund five (5) days notice is required and a student for over five (5) days before a refund is payable. 

Any school day that is cancelled due to an unforeseen occurrence such as power outage, typhoon, pandemic, etc., does not qualify for a refund.
