Through a comprehensive and personalized College and Career Counseling Program, we help students discover their strengths and potential, explore academic interests, university majors, and career pathways that match their interests, develop strategic university application plans, and prepare confidently for university life and beyond.

AXIS College Counseling Program Highlights

• Customized college and career counseling curriculum for Grades 9-12

• Individualized counseling sessions with students and/or parents

• High school course selection guidance (Regular, Pre-AP, and AP courses)

• College information sessions and college fairs

• Parent information sessions, coffee chats, and workshops

• Standardized test planning and preparation (SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, etc)

• Career Exploration Day and Mock Job Fair

• University application planning and support

• Essay and personal statement guidance

• Transition-to-university preparation and support

Over 4 years of high school (grades 9-12), students will work on their college application project.

Objectives for each year:

• Grade 9: Explore Interests and Career Pathways: Students explore their interests, strengths, values, personality traits, and potential career pathways through career assessments, reflection activities, and exposure to different industries and professions

• Grade 10: Identify Your Preferred Destinations: Students begin exploring different study destinations and their admission systems, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Canada, Australia, Europe, and other regions.

• Grade 11: Build a Balanced Dream College List: Students research universities, compare programs, evaluate admission requirements, and develop a balanced college list that includes aspirational, target, and likely options.

• Grade 12: Finalize College Applications: Students finalize their university lists, prepare application materials, write personal statements and essays, request recommendation letters, and submit applications.
