Building Minds That Matter 从课堂到国际议事厅

A delegation of five distinguished students from AXIS recently attended MUNOX, the Model United Nations of Xiamen conference. The event, provided a dynamic and challenging platform for students to engage in diplomatic dialogue and debate on pressing global issues.

The AXIS delegates represented their assigned nations with exceptional poise, thorough research, and diplomatic skill. They actively participated in committee sessions, delivering compelling speeches, negotiating complex clauses in draft resolutions, and building consensus among their peers.

The conference was marked by a particularly outstanding achievement for the AXIS community. Kinzley, a 9th-grade student, was awarded the coveted Best Delegate gavel in her SPECPOL (Special Political and Decolonization Committee) committee. This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to her in-depth research, persuasive public speaking, and masterful command of parliamentary procedure. Competing against seasoned delegates, Kinzley’s performance demonstrated a maturity and diplomatic acumen that truly set her apart.

The entire AXIS delegation is to be commended for their hard work and for representing our school’s values. Their success at the MUNOX conference underscores AXIS’s commitment to fostering global awareness, critical thinking, and developing the next generation of leaders.

一支由五名优秀学生组成的AXIS代表团，近日参加了在厦门举办的模拟联合国会议MUNOX。此次会议为学生们提供了一个充满活力与挑战的平台，使其能够就紧迫的全球议题展开外交对话与辩论。

AXIS代表们凭借出色的沉着素养、扎实的前期研究和娴熟的外交技巧，代表所分配的国家积极参与会议。他们在各委员会会议上发表富有感染力的演讲，就决议草案中的复杂条款进行谈判，并与各方代表努力构建共识。
