Embracing Diversity Celebrating Together 拥抱多元文化

On May 21, AXIS came alive with color, joy, and cultural celebration for the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. Students and staff explored cultures from around the world through engaging activities, delicious food, traditional clothing, music, art, teamwork, and sports. Teachers and parent volunteers also joined the celebration by setting up wonderful booths for students to visit and enjoy.
The event featured four main sections: food, primary activities, secondary activities, and sports. Through a variety of fun games and cultural traditions, students had the opportunity to learn about different cultures from around the world in an interactive and meaningful way.
One of the highlights was our special technology-enhanced photo booth, where students could take fun check-in photos as they “traveled” to famous landmarks and destinations around the world, including the Parthenon in Greece, the Eiffel Tower in France, the pyramids in Egypt, and the African savannah.
Through seeing, feeling, playing, and tasting, students developed respect, curiosity, and global awareness. We did not only share cultures — we also shared happiness. We may be different, but together, we share one world.
5月21日是“世界文化多样性促进对话和发展日”，我们通过庆祝活动让整个校园充满了缤纷色彩和欢乐氛围！学生和老师们通过有趣的活动、美味的食物、传统服饰、音乐、艺术、团队合作和体育活动，探索了来自世界各地不同的文化。老师和家长志愿者们为学生精心布置许多不同的文化展位，让大家尽情参观和体验。
庆祝活动包括四个部分：美食、小学部活动、中学部活动以及体育运动。通过体验各种有趣的游戏和文化传统，学生们以互动且富有意义的方式了解世界各地不同的文化。
值得一提的是我们这次特别设置的拍照打卡位，它应用科技带领学生们“穿梭”在世界各地的著名地标和景点，拍摄有趣的打卡照片，包括希腊的帕特农神庙、法国的埃菲尔铁塔、埃及的金字塔以及非洲的草原。
活动通过看见，感受、参与和品尝，提升了学生们对于多元文化的尊重和好奇心，以及全球意识。我们不仅仅分享文化，也传递快乐。我们或许各不相同，却生活在同一个世界🌎
