2026 Innovation Exhibition 学生创新成果展

On April 22nd, Earth Day, AXIS students and teachers celebrated together on campus by presenting a fantastic Innovation Exhibition and the first AXIS Trashion Show. Students used their skills in research, critical thinking, and problem-solving, and translated what they learned in class about our planet and environmental conservation into creative works.

In Secondary STEAM classes, students explored topics connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) through a learning cycle of research – design solutions – build & test – present & share. They discovered areas they were interested in, worked in groups, generated questions, and solved real challenges. In the process, they developed deeper knowledge and essential skills through thoughtful inquiry, investigation, and hands-on practice.

During Science lessons, students tackled a variety of topics using scientific concepts such as biological structures and processes, forces and motion and energy transfer, renewable energy, waste management, and environmental conservation. They also created a 3D model of a future classroom using 3D printers, turning their ideas into tangible outcomes.

In Primary, students explored art as a powerful way to express their understanding of their Unit of Inquiry (UOI). Throughout this journey, they  drew, painted, and created a wide range of artworks inspired by the theme Our Planet. Their work reflected deep engagement with important topics such as how our planet changes, natural disasters, environmental protection, and the diversity of biomes around the world. Through paintings, detailed sketches, clay models, and imaginative dioramas, students  translated their ideas into visual forms, demonstrating both creativity and growing artistic skills. Each piece tells a story.

Student works from our Fashion Design and Ceramics classes were also on display, showcasing the outstanding creativity and hands-on skills of our students. Amazing work! These pieces reflected students’ strong imagination, careful craftsmanship, and willingness to explore new ideas through the learning process.

In the afternoon, the first AXIS Trashion Show took place in the auditorium. Students walked the stage wearing hand-made outfits made from trash-recycled materials, bringing a bold new fashion trend to life—Trashion! Big ideas and a great show!

As we celebrate Earth Day, we are reminded that protecting our planet starts with small actions and inspired ideas. Through this exhibition, our students showed that they can think deeply, create responsibly, and speak up for a greener future. Thank you to all our students, teachers, and staff for making this event such a success—together, we’re taking learning beyond the classroom and turning it into real impact.

4月22日，地球日当天，AXIS全体师生们在校园里共同庆祝，举办了精彩的学生创新成果展以及首届AXIS环保时装秀。学生们运用他们在研究、批判性思维和解决问题方面的技能，将课堂上学到的有关我们的地球和环境保护的知识转化为富有创意的作品。

在中学的 STEAM 课程上，学生们通过“研究-设计解决方案-建造与测试-展示与分享”的学习周期，探索与联合国可持续发展目标相关的主题。他们发现了自己感兴趣的方向，小组合作，提出问题，并解决实际难题。在这个过程中，他们通过认真仔细的探究、调查以及动手实践，加深对知识的理解，提升必备技能。

在科学课上，学生们运用生物学结构和过程、力与运动与能量传递、可再生能源、废物管理以及环境保护等科学概念来探讨各种主题。他们还使用 3D 打印机制作了一个未来教室的 3D 模型，将自己的想法转化为实际成果。

在小学部，学生们将艺术作为一种有力量的表达方式，表达他们对于“探究单元”学习的理解。在这段探索过程中，他们进行了绘画创作，并以“我们的地球”这一主题为灵感，创作出了各种各样的艺术作品。他们的作品反映了他们对一些重要议题的深入思考，例如地球如何变化、自然灾害、环境保护以及世界各地生物群落多样性等。通过绘画、素描、黏土模型和富有想象力的立体模型，学生们将自己的想法转化为视觉形式，展现了创造力和不断提升的艺术技能。每一件作品都讲述了一个故事。

学生在时装设计和陶艺课上完成的作品也一同展出，展示了学生们卓越的创造力和实践能力。这些作品让人眼前一亮！不仅体现了学生们丰富的想象力和细致的工艺，也体现了他们在学习过程中乐于探索新想法的意愿。

下午时间，第一届AXIS环保时装秀在大礼堂举行。学生们穿着自己运用可回收垃圾亲手制作的创意服装登上舞台，向大家展示了全新又大胆的时尚潮流 – 环保时尚！创意十足，精彩不断！

在我们庆祝地球日之际，我们意识到保护我们的地球始于一些小小的行动和富有启发性的想法。通过这次展览，我们的学生展示了他们能够深入思考、负责任地创造，并为更绿色的未来发声。感谢我们所有的学生、教师和员工，是你们让这次活动如此成功——让我们一起把学习从课堂延伸出去，并将其转化为切实的影响力。
