Dancing Under the Stars 繁星下的舞步

On 13 May 2026, AXIS proudly hosted the very first Dancing Under the Stars, a memorable evening that marked a new chapter in the school’s performing arts journey.

What began as a student idea soon became a reality. Our students spoke, and we listened. Originally planned as an outdoor celebration beneath the night sky, the evening took an unexpected turn when rain arrived just before the event. The Music Hall was transformed into a warm and magical performance space, with hanging lights creating our very own “stars” indoors.

Students from ECC through High School took to the stage with enthusiasm, courage, and joy. The performances were filled with energy and heart, showcasing a wide range of talents across the performing arts. More importantly, the event created an inclusive and welcoming platform for all students, especially those who may feel hesitant about performing on larger stages. Dancing Under the Stars encouraged children to step forward, explore their talents, and build confidence within a supportive environment.

The evening was well attended by students, families, and staff, reflecting the vibrant sense of community that defines AXIS.

As music, dance, laughter, and applause filled the hall, Dancing Under the Stars became more than just a performance event; it became a celebration of community, creativity, and student spirit.

AXIS looks forward to many more evenings where our students continue to shine brightly.

5月13日晚上，AXIS举办了首届 “繁星下的舞步（Dancing Under the Stars）” 活动。这是一个令人难忘的夜晚，也开启了学校表演艺术发展旅程中的新篇章。

这场活动最初是源于学生们的一个想法，而现在这个想法被实现了。学生们表达了自己的声音，而我们也在认真倾听。原本，这是一场计划在夜空下举行的户外活动。然而，就在活动开始前，突如其来的下雨让这个夜晚迎来了一个意外的转折。音乐厅随即被布置成了一个温馨而梦幻的表演空间，悬挂的灯饰仿佛化作了属于我们自己的“星空”。

从幼儿园到高中部的学生们都满怀热情、勇气与喜悦登上舞台。整场演出充满活力与热情，充分展现了学生们在表演艺术上丰富多样的才华。更重要的是，这场活动为所有学生打造了一个包容且友好的展示平台，尤其鼓励那些对大型舞台表演仍有所犹豫的孩子们勇敢地迈出第一步。“繁星下的舞步” 让孩子们有机会走上舞台，探索自己的才能，并在充满支持与鼓励的环境中建立自信心。

当晚，有许多学生、家长及教职员工们积极参与，其中既有表演者，也有到场为大家喝彩的观众，而这正体现了AXIS 是一个充满活力、团结的社区。

随着音乐、舞蹈、欢笑与掌声回荡在整个音乐厅上空，“繁星下的舞步” 活动已不仅仅是一场表演活动，更成为了一场关于社区、创意与学生精神的庆祝活动。

AXIS 期待未来能够有更多这样的美好夜晚，让我们的学生能继续闪耀属于他们的光芒。
