Growing Together: Strengthening Parent–School Partnerships 家校合作，共育成长

At AXIS, we believe that education is a shared journey. A child’s growth and development depend not only on what happens at school but also on the support they receive at home. That’s why we value strong relationships with our families and are committed to building meaningful parent–school partnerships.

Throughout the school year, we create opportunities for parents and teachers to connect, communicate, and work together through three key initiatives: Parent Workshops, Parent Conferences, and Principal Coffee Chats.

Parent Workshops

Our Parent Workshops take place throughout the school year, inviting parents onto campus to explore a variety of topics related to education, student development, and our curriculum.

Some workshops even give parents the opportunity to step into their children’s shoes through interactive classroom activities led by our teachers. These hands-on experiences offer a closer look at how students learn, helping parents better understand their children’s school life and discover practical ways to support learning at home.

Parent Conferences

Every school year, we hold a range of parent conferences, including Three-Way Conferences, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and Student-Led Conferences.

Each provides an opportunity for parents to connect with teachers, celebrate their children’s progress, discuss questions or thoughts, and explore ways to support continued growth.

Student-led conferences also give students a voice in their learning journey, encouraging them to reflect on their achievements, share their experiences, and take ownership of their progress.

Principal Coffee Chats

Sometimes, the most meaningful conversations happen over a cup of coffee!

Our Principal Coffee Chats bring together parents who may have children in the same grade levels or share similar questions and feedback.

In a relaxed and welcoming setting, parents can sit down with our school principals, exchange ideas, ask questions, and share their perspectives on school life and their children’s education.

These informal conversations help strengthen connections and build a greater sense of community.

Our parent–school partnerships go beyond meetings and events. They are about building trust, strengthening connections, and working together towards a shared goal: helping every student learn, grow, and thrive.

Through meaningful conversations and shared experiences, we celebrate students’ achievements, reflect on their progress, and explore ways to better support their learning journeys. Because when families and schools grow together, our students benefit the most.

在AXIS，我们始终相信，教育是一段家校同行的旅程。孩子的成长与发展，不仅离不开校园里的学习与探索，也需要家庭的陪伴与支持。因此，我们珍视与每一个家庭的联系，致力于建立紧密而有意义的家校合作关系。

在整个学年中，我们通过家长工作坊、家长会以及与校长的咖啡闲聊会三种形式，为家长与老师创造更多交流、沟通与合作的机会，让家校之间的联系更加紧密。

家长工作坊

每个学年，AXIS都会定期举办不同主题的家长工作坊，邀请家长走进校园，一起探讨教育理念、学生成长及学校课程等话题。

部分工作坊还会由老师带领家长参与互动课堂，让家长有机会换个身份，亲身体验孩子们的学习方式。通过有趣的课堂活动，家长不仅能够更直观地了解孩子在学校的学习生活，也能从中获得启发，找到更多在家支持孩子学习与成长的方法。

家长会

每学年的家长会包括三方会谈（学生-家长-老师）、家长-老师会谈以及学生主导会议。

每一种形式，都是家长与老师深入交流的机会。我们一起分享孩子的进步与收获，讨论学习中的问题与困惑，并共同探索下一阶段的成长方向。

其中，学生主导会议更是将表达的机会交给学生自己。这个活动鼓励他们主动回顾学习历程，展示成果，分享学习体验，也在这一过程中学会反思，并为自己的学习承担更多责任。

与校长的咖啡闲聊会

有时候，一杯咖啡，就是一次真诚交流的开始。

我们的“与校长的咖啡闲聊会”为家长提供了一个轻松交流的平台。无论是相同年级学生的家长，还是有共同疑惑与关注的家庭，都可以借此机会坐下来聊一聊。

在轻松、开放的氛围中，家长们与学部校长围坐在一起，交流各自的想法，提出问题，聊聊孩子的校园生活，也谈谈对教育的理解与期待。

这些轻松而真诚的交流，让家校之间的联系更加紧密，而双方的理解与归属感也悄然增长。

家校合作的意义，远不止于一次会议或一场活动。它是彼此之间逐渐建立的信任，更加紧密的联系，更是为了同一个目标而携手努力——让每一个学生都能快乐学习，自信成长，绽放属于自己的光彩。

在一次次真诚的交流与分享中，我们庆祝学生取得的成就，关注他们的每一次进步，也一起寻找更适合他们的支持方式。因为我们相信，当家庭与学校携手同行，最大的受益者，永远是我们的学生。
